Micheale Tesema set a new Augsburg record in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:42.07 as the men's indoor track and field team competed at the University of Minnesota Snowshoe Open. It was the Gophers last meet before traveling to compete in the Big Ten Championships next weekend. The Auggies fared well against the stiff competition and recorded five top-five finishes on the day, including Tesema's fourth place finish in his record setting run.
