[Track & Field] Women's track sets several school records, brings home Berea Invite titleBarker resigning as Augsburg track/cross country coachPublished by
Georgetown College men's and women's track team were fast out of the blocks this season. The Tiger teams opened at the Berea Invitational with Top 3 finishes. The women brought home the top prize, scoring 229.50 points. The next closest was host Berea with 138.50. Lindsey Wilson was third with 115. St. Catharine was the only other Mid-South Conference team at the meet and finished fourth with 69 points. The men finished third (145) behind Berea (260) and LWC (156). SCC came in fifth with 33.50 points. Augsburg men's and women's track and field and cross country head coach Dennis Barker has announced his resignation from his coaching positions, the college's athletic department has announced.
