RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- The women's cross country team was led by Taybri Irving and Kayla Roberge, who both recorded personal-records on Saturday morning in the 6,000-meter race at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course.

The Augsburg women's cross country team started its season off right with a victory over Bethel by a score of 26 to 29 in a 5,000-meter dual meet at Riverside Park on Saturday morning.

Augsburg men's and women's cross country head coach Meghan Peyton finished 11th in the women's 10,000-meter run at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held on Thursday evening in Sacramento, Calif.

The Augsburg College women's cross country team earned Division III All-Academic Team recognition, as awarded by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association and Kayla Roberge earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

Twenty-one Augsburg student-athletes earned Academic All-MIAC honors from winter and spring sports, it was announced on Thursday by the conference office.
